Why Anderson Estimating Service?
Every estimate is built from real production rates, real equipment costs, and real crew numbers. No RSMeans. No unit-price shortcuts.
The goal is to build a real, usable bid quickly, without turning the estimate into a tedious mess
We build real estimates with knowledge & experience from someone who has worked every side of a civil construction job.
Allen started in job costing and take-offs, live tracking for a large civil contractor moving millions of yards of dirt. That work is where the real understanding of bid items, production rates, and crew costs came from.
Then the field. Laborer, Running hubs, grade checking, operating equipment, foreman, project manager, and field engineer. Eventually moved to estimating and owned a grading company. 40 years of it.
Allen has also written several custom software systems for civil construction companies, including ETU Estimate™. The estimating program AES uses on every job today, and the same program AES is making available to other civil estimators.
